To see the city of Rome and all its communities flourish.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who through His perfect life and sacrificial death atoned for the sins of all who will trust in Him, alone, for salvation.

To cultivate flourishing community in a broken world by practicing distinctive worship, maintaining a Gospel focus and embracing all of life as ministry.

Our values clarify the behaviors and the beliefs that we prioritize above all else.

What we DO values:

We are a worshipping community, seeking to express our adoration of a holy and merciful God, and to be formed by the gospel in the act of corporate and private worship.

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. (John 4:23)

We are a teaching community, believing that education should lead to transformation.

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. (Acts 2:42)

We are a community devoted to fellowship, believing that God makes us fully human as we are in relationship with others.

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. (Acts 2:42)

We are a community that seeks restoration, believing that the Gospel leads us not only to feel compassion for, but also to work towards healing a broken world.

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8)

We are a community that offers the good news of reconciliation, believing that God desires and works towards drawing people into relationship with Him.

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. (2 Corinthians 5:18-19)

What we BELIEVE values:

The Gospel

We believe that we are justified and sanctified by grace!

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:8-10)

Biblical Authority

We believe that the Bible is true and authoritative.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness…” (II Timothy 3:16)

Every Member a Minister

We believe that people shouldn’t just GO to church but that they should BE the church.

“Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.” (I Corinthians 12:7)

Changing Methods, Unchanging Message

We believe that the church must be culturally relevant while the message must never be relative.

“All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking in his own language. Utterly amazed, they asked: “Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans? Then how is it that each of us hears them in his own native language?” (Acts 2:4-8)

We believe that people should be able to come to 7HF as they are: physically, emotionally, and spiritually!

“The blind and the lame came to him in the Temple, and he healed them. The leading priests and the teachers of religious law saw these wonderful miracles and heard even the children in the Temple shouting, “Praise God for the Son of David.” But the leaders were indignant. They asked Jesus, “Do you hear what these children are saying?” “Yes,” Jesus replied. “Haven’t you ever read the Scriptures? For they say, ‘You have taught children and infants to give you praise.” (Matthew 21:14-16)

Human dignity

We believe that all people are created in the image of God and as a result are worthy of the utmost respect and dignity.

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (Gen. 1:27)
